I joined as the backend engineer on a contract team that also owned design and product.
Problem
The service helps parents and children build a relationship by recording daily life together, which meant journaling and commerce had to live on one platform.
How I solved it
- Joined as the contract team covering design, product, and engineering; owned backend design and delivery
- Built the backend server on FastAPI
